A lot of attempts have been made at creating a music video within World of Warcraft. In general these endeavors fall into one of three categories. They all either feature a re-make of a classic song with WoW characters lip synching, original music that is funny to players of the game based on inside jokes, or just dancing videos showing off the pre-programmed animations of the game.

This week I decided to take a crack at a top ten list of WoW music videos. Lets get to it.

Number One: The absolute classic video "The internet is for porn" Here
This video is original, not just a cover song, and is very funny. It will make you laugh out loud, and then get stuck in your head and drive you crazy. Be very careful not to accidentally sing "For porn" in front of people who have no clue about this video, that will make you seem psycho.

Number Two: WoW Dancing. Available Here
A video showing exactly where all the dances in WoW came from. This ranks highly because it took a lot of green screen work and a lot of finding + synching video clips together. It's very cool too!

Number Three: Red Dress. Check it out Here
In this video a "hardcore pvper" laments the fact that his character doesn't look badass in a pretty red dress! I love the flying pyroblasts and blast waves this video is filled with.

Number Four: We Will Rock You. On Voig Here
A classic Queen song that was practically required to be made into a WoW movie. I love the use of thunderclap to do the stomping.

Number Five: Beer Song. Check it out Here
There is a major rift here at Voig between those of us staffers who love video games more and those of us who love beer more. This video is one of the few things we all love equally.

Number Six: The WoW that You Play. Check it out Here
An amazing QQ song. This guy cries about every single class with classic lyrics. The song sounds pretty bad, but the content and originality more than make up for it

Number Seven: Guild Wars Vs WoW. Here
A side by side comparison of the dancing in each game. I love the parts with lots of synchronized characters that actually look like music video dancers.

Number Eight: Nickleback. Available Here
An emotional video that actually tells a narrative love story. It's so poignant I think I'm going to cry!

Number Nine: Numa Numa. Here
Every WoW music video count down NEEDS a numa numa video. This is one of those really annoying songs that gets played out and gets funnier every time. Enjoy !

Number Ten: Too Sexy. Here
Right Said Fred haunts you to this day. You will never be rid of this song. I put it at number 10 just to torture you.

Come on now people, you can do better than these. Get to making your own WoW music videos and you can submit them to our monthly video contest. I know you can do at least well enough to beat the Nickleback video!
