Kotaku is one of the most respected gaming news sites in the industry, but today they just got owned. HARD. I don't suggest going there any time soon. As of my writing this the TubGirl image has been on their homepage for waaaaaaaaay to long. It seems to me like the folks over at Gizmodo were supposed to play a Halo 3 match against them. The folks at Kotaku went onto Gizmodo and posted a faked letter ostensibly from the Gizmodo people forefiting the match due to "not wanted to play a one sided match where we will just get spanked." To get revenge the folks at Gizmodo went back to Kotaku and posted this image. How exactly do they have access to just post stuff directly onto their homepage?
The funny thing is that a lot of their members regularly check the site from work, and pulling up that kind of image can result in suspension at a minimum. I would be understanding of my employees going to a usually upstanding website that was attacked unexpectedly, but many bosses wouldn't even listen because they would be too busy puking their guts out after seeing that. If another employee saw it there could easly be a serious lawsuit for sexual harassment and an uncomfortable workplace.
I wonder why this hasn't been taking down yet? there are over 200 comments on the sucker calling for it and expressing serious disgust.
Update: You missed your chance to see it. It's gone now. All that remains is this screenshot of comments I took. I'm sure the reverberations will be heard on the site for the next 5 years.
