The official release date for Crysis has been set to November 16th. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli had this to say "Crytek is constantly striving to push the boundaries of both game design and technology, while maintaining quality at the highest bar. We're thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we're excited to bring them Crysis this year. It's going to be worth the wait."

Lucky for us, a brand new high definition Crysis trailer was also released today, raising the hype level for the game through the roof. You can see the video Here It's strange because this trailer really doesn't seem to be following the storyline of the game as I knew it. I thought they went in after the alien ship crashes, but this trailer make it seem like a lot more is going on prior to that.

It was very important to find out the actual release date of Crysis because so many of us need to upgrade our video cards to new ones with direct x10. September might be a good time to invest in some video card companies, becuase Crysis is going to drive a lot of componant sales.
