New game lineup revealed

Konami has just confirmed its lineup of five titles for the games convention 2007, which will be held in Leipzig from August 23rd to 27th. Four new entries of the popular Metal Gear Solid series will debut, including remade versions of MGS3:Subsistence for both PS3 and PSP along with the highly anticipated MGS4. Hideo Kojima, director and producer of the MGS series will also be showing his first title for Nintendo DS, Lunar Knights.

Moreover, the show will provide the first hands-on experiences for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, which will undoubtedly be one of the most popular titles amongst the avid European football fans. PES 2008, which includes the new 'Teamvision' AI system - a mechanism that adapts to an individuals playstyle, will be released this fall. Other titles include Silent Hill and Castlevania, both of which will be on the PSP platform.

"We will witness one of the most exciting system changes ever at this year's games convention," commented Martin Schneider, Sales and Marketing Director for Konami's German branch. "We can promise visitors and gamers in Leipzig that Konami will play a major role in this year's gaming year - delivering new games and additions to popular franchises, while producing exciting games for new system and established formats."
