Here is some of the most recent sales data for video games curtesy of Amazon.com. Notice that Nintendo is the big winner with six of the top 10 overall games belonging to their bullpen. There is the overall list, but also individual top 10s for each platform. I wish they had included numbers of units sold in addition to ranking them, because ranking alone doesn't tell the entire story.

Take a look at how well Activision is doing. They just recently raised their quarterly earnings expectations thanks to Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero III sales. Their full year outlook is now 2.3 billion dollars. The NPD group ranked them as the number 1 largest US publisher for the month of October.
