Remember when we reported that The9 failed to release The Burning Crusade in China until very recently? Well it came out, and man did China jump right into things. You might recall Gullerbone, the French player who had a whole guild help him level to 70 in a mere 28 hours, becoming the worlds first level 70. Gullerbone's record was shattered by a full 5 hours (~18% faster) by SilverDragon when the expansion launched in China this weekend. This means the French player is no longer the fastest leveler, but still the earliest.

This extreme leveling speed is accomplished by having massive aid from a guild. In the above picture you can see SilverDragon in the center on the flying mount, and around him are all the people who helped him level so quickly. One player needs to simply "tap" a mob and the rest of the guild kills it very quickly. This means a hunter like Silver can just shoot everything in sight and as it streams toward him he will get massive experience. A hunter can pull mobs faster than any other class, which makes it no wonder one of them now holds the record.

You gotta wonder if there are a lot of other people who there who had a whole guild help them try to do this and wound up being slower. There has to be right? Those stories are just as interesting, if not more so, in my opinion. I would love to sit down and chat with someone who failed to get noticed and wasted that same ammount of guild time and resources.
