It can probably be said that Crysis has the most breathtakingly stunning graphics ever witnessed before in a game. No surprise there. So what could possibly be better than that? Well Crysis is actually an amazing FPS as well. Again, no surprise there.
Crysis brings more to the table than just the best graphics ever seen. Crysis excels on many levels to create rich and comprehensive environments. Crysis is basically a “Sandbox” game where you are placed in the middle of a large expansive level and are charged with one objective. Free form gameplay, with lots of weapon customization allows you to decide how you want to accomplish that objective. Not only do you get to roam in huge sprawling environments but you also get to enlist the powers of your nanosuit. Such abilities as cloak, enhanced speed and strength makes Masterchief look like a pussy. There is an incredibly high replay value with Crysis. Being that the environments are so unrestrained, players can replay levels to try different approaches, and with the added enjoyment of the harder mode Delta, players get the challenge that so many games lack. There are a few drawbacks, and though they are insignificant in the overall gameplay, they are still worth mentioning. The AI is great, don’t get me wrong, but it is a bit clunky. And apparently unarmed Koreans are bulletproof. Enemies take too much damage before going down. Another thing that is somewhat bothersome is that you’re a super soldier with nanosuit technology and yet getting thrown on or getting hit by a barrel kills you? That being said, the drawbacks are trivial and do not affect the overall experience of the game. Crysis is probably one of the best First-Person Shooters ever. Too bad you need a new computer to play it.
Do I recommend this game? If you have the PC to run this game
Who should play this game? It’s one of the best FPS ever.... Who shouldn’t play this game is a better question

To play Crysis -- and I mean play, not run it on lowest DX 9 settings -- you need a high end rig. I have Q6700 8800 GTX 4 gigs of ram and 32 bit Vista. I can run the game on highest resolution with almost everything maxed out. It runs smoothly and looks amazing. So forget about the 8800 GT, it does not have enough power to give you an excellent performance; you will have to turn too many things down in order to run it.
Now that we got that out of the way, Crysis is the best game created by mankind. Everything about this game is perfect (except for that fact the game is too short and there is no team death match). The graphics are lifelike. This game is crafted so well that every detail screams out at you. For example, if you're in freezing weather your weapons start freezing over. You can modify your weapons on the run and the physics are so realistic you can spend an hour just shooting palm trees down and watching them graciously fall. It is a jaw-dropping experience all the way through and packed with so many memorable moments that you will be thinking about Crysis even when you're not playing it. The AI is so intelligent if you did not have the cloak feature you wouldn't be able to finish the game.
Unlike Gordon Freeman, Nomad always has something to say. When someone is talking to him he clearly responds; if he sees something unusual he comments, if he feels that it needs to be reported to headquarters he does so. He doesn't just stand there like a retarded mute. Multiplayer Is a good mixture of BF2 and Counterstrike. It has an economy system and all the FPS multiplayer goodness. It even lets you call in air strikes or nukes. Crysis is today's Doom. Its technology is brilliant and will impress anyone, even non-gamers.
Do I recommend this game? Yes, everyone should check it out.
Who should play this game? Gamers with high end rigs.

Crysis is a insanely good. It feels like playing Contra 1 again when I was young. An FPS game where you are dropped on a tropical island and then progressively fight your way from humans to awesome aliens works for me. Crysis delivers an unparalleled engine with beautiful graphics and wins on every level.
The action really gets your blood pumping, because you have to worry about lots of enemies appearing from different sides. Making decisions is important to surviving. I prefered to waste enemies a lot, but you can sneak around and do things your way too. Healing between firefights takes something away from the game, but I guess it is preferable to lame health packs other games feature.
The best aspect of Crysis by far is the map editor. You can just pain forests onto the land and add every other element with the same ease. Drop yourself into the map you have laid out and you are instantly ready to play it. Building entire games with this is a simple affair. Games like Warcraft 3 and Half Life spawned fan created masterpieces Counterstrike and Defense of the Ancients with their engine editors. What wonders will the Crysis engine produce?
I disliked how they already have 2 sequels to this game in the works, but of course I have a list a mile long of things I’d love to suggest for them. Multiplayer would be defined by a realistic body damage system if you did that type of feature. It’s something all other online FPS games sorta lack. It’s very weak when it takes so many shots to down an enemy in single player which this would also improve.
I loved playing and because of the map editor feature I have a crazy feeling I’ll be doing a lot more with this game then I can even currently imagine.
Do I recommend this game? If you have a sick gaming machine get this before COD 4. If you have an average rig don't.
Who should play this game? Anyone who likes FPS eventually should.
